a friend of mine was talking to me on the phone yesterday and he expressed certain regret about leaving his ex company. he wonders if he made the right choice. apparently the situation there is worse than his ex company.

it made me think abit about my workplace and its people. and i'm grateful. to have a number of good colleagues who have become good friends, to have an understanding (kind of) and flexible boss, to have learnt and made mistakes.

i guess the grass is always greener on the other side, and despite my many complaints, i do know that the working environment here that i'm enjoying is not often found elsewhere. things may get real shit here sometimes, but compared to other places, i guess this can be considered mild. that's why i can't work in banks/audit firms/gahmen places. too much politics and backstabbing for me to handle.

other news, i've put on weight! yay!!! woots.. about 2 more kg to my ideal weight. wonder how long that's gonna take me! :P

do i look like aung san suu kyi? i personally think that there might be some similarities... the caring, self sacrificing nature... HEH! like real. do you guys think that we look somewhat alike?
